To begin your Bankruptcy with our office you need to do two things. First, you need to schedule an appointment. You may click on the clock to the right to do that, or you may call us at 816-628-4900.
Next, you need to fill out our data gathering form. If possible, please bring this to our office at your scheduled appointment -- HOWEVER, don't let this prevent you from coming in. Just do as much as you can and bring it with you if need be. There will likely be some questions that won't apply to you, or that are confusing. Just skip them and move on. Although the form may seem intimidating, this is an essential part of the filing process. We find that most people can complete it in less than 60 minutes. Click on the clipboard to the right to download it. Yes, we know, there is a lot of information. However, we don't have much choice here. PLEASE NOTE: On Section 3 of the form you may just bring in the most recent copies of bills, such as credit card statements, etc

Also -- you need to bring your tax returns for the last three years, your three most recent bank statements, and pay stubs representing your income for the most recent three months.
