Rick Herndon has been practicing Missouri Bankruptcy Law for
24 years. He handled his first bankruptcy case in 1986, and
since then has handled numerous Chapter 7 and Chapter 13
cases for his clients.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from
Northeast Missouri State University and his Law Degree from
the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Clients include
individuals and families from throughout the State of Missouri.
Rick's practice philosophy centers on educating clients as to
their options and implementing their wishes. He is a firm
believer that bankruptcy isn't for everyone, but when
appropriate that it is a wonderful tool designed to give people
the "fresh start" that they need. He understands the stress that
financial problems place on individuals and married couples
alike, and stands ready to help them through these tough times,
as he has done many times before
Rick has been extremely active in civic
affairs. He has previously served on the
Kearney Board of Education, as a
Director of the Kearney Fire and Rescue
Protection District, and on the Pastoral
Council of the Church of the Annuncation.
He is an active member of the Knights of
Columbus. Rick has coached youth
baseball and softball for over fifteen
years. He and his wife, Cheryl, have been
married for 32 years and have three
children and five grandchildren.
